Note
from the breaker: "Hi Paul, Your Catbird filly
has completed being broken in and I am happy to
say that she broke in really well. She has a kind
nature and was really a pleasure to work with.
She took to the task well showing good intelligence
the whole way through the process. She is a lovely
moving horse - one of the best I have broken in
this year. Will probably appreciate being given
a bit of time to further mature and develop. All
the best with her on the racetrack. Hopefully
we see her back at Princess Park for pre-training
after she has a well deserved break."

The
Catbird filly has completed 4 weeks of the 6 week
breaking in process and has impressed the Breaker
Linc Sullivan so far. He has specifically commented
on her good galloping action, keenness to work
and intelligence. Linc believes the filly is a
mid season (April) 2yo and does not believe we
should push her too quickly, but allow for a 10
week break after being broken in. This would allow
us to put the filly in work for a educational
campaign in November for 6 to 8 weeks, before
spelling for approx 6 weeks, then getting into
the serious training in Feb with a view to race
in April.

July 2006
Its
very early in the breaking in process for our
Catbird filly but at this point the breaker Linc
Sullivan is very pleased with her and has commented
on how impressed he is with her as a horse to
look at and at her intelligence as she picks things
up very quickly. I have asked for a weekly report
from Linc so I will ensure his feedback is passed
on as I receive it.

April 2006
The
Catbird Filly continues to do well in the paddock.
In the next six weeks she will be sent for breaking
in. In the meantime her family is having continued
success on the racetrack with our filly's close
relative Railings running a close second to Eremein
in the Group 1 BMW last weekend.
