Our Bel Esprit filly is
growing and developing as expected, but horses
tend not to really thrive till the spring, so
at this stage she will remain in the paddock developing
through the spring before being broken in.

The
Bel Esprit filly is currently agisting at Cranbourne
in VIC. She will stay there for the next 6 - 8
weeks until being broken in - probably in Sydney.
She seems to be adjusting well to life in the
paddock.

Today we secured
the third horse of the super syndicate. it is the
very attractiveBel
Esprit filly out of the mare Brisk. It didn’t come
without some tension, as there were 5 parties bidding.
The bidding started slowly but there were a number
of different parties looking to take the filly home.
But when the bidding hotted up, it was down to two
as we traded bids for what seemed like an eternity
before we finally wore the other party down with
a knockout final bid. Although nerve wracking (I
was more nervous than when I bought my house!) we
paid less than expected and she really looks like
an exceptional filly. |
